Mahtomedi Youth Baseball In House Registration is Now Closed.

Registration Deadline: In House Baseball Registration closed on March 7, 2025.

Season Information

Evaluations: 

We will hold In House Baseball evaluations for players in grades 2 - 9.  All players are strongly encouraged to attend evaluations, with the goal of helping us create evenly skilled teams.

Evaluations Date, Times & Location

Saturday, March 22, Mahtomedi Middle School Gyms & Atrium

K/1st grades: no evaluations

2nd/3rd Grades, Last Names A-L:  9:00-9:45 am 

2nd/3rd Grades, Last Names M-Z: 9:45-10:30 am 

4th/5th Grades: 10:30-11:15 am

6th/7th Grades: 11:15 am-12:00 pm

8th/9th Grades: uniform fitting only, 11:30am-12:30pm

You will receive a detailed email regarding your player's grade level, with instructions for Evaluations around March 16.

For the 2025 season, we are asking all In House Mahtomedi Youth Baseball families of players who are in 2nd grade or older to volunteer for 2 hours per player.  

Mahtomedi Youth Baseball is a nonprofit organization that is run completely by volunteers. It is supported through registration fees, donations, sponsorships, and through revenue generated at its baseball tournaments. We cannot run a successful and cost-efficient program without volunteer support from our members and community. We need your help!

Coming later this summer - Rookie Ball!

For our Spring Kindergarten/1st grade Coach Pitch league, players must be currently enrolled in Kindergarten or 1st grade to participate. If a player is interested in baseball, but not yet enrolled in Kindergarten or 1st grade, we would encourage you to register for T-Ball through Mahtomedi Community Education for the spring season. T-Ball registration opens March 19th through Mahtomedi Community Education

T-Ball will conclude by July 4th, then...come play in our new league...ROOKIE BALL!

Mahtomedi Youth Baseball will now offer Rookie Ball, a 5 week season, which will run Monday & Wednesday nights, from July 7 - August 6.

Rookie Ball will be open to players who will be entering Kindergarten,1st or 2nd grade in the fall 2025 school year. Rookie Ball will run opposite nights (M & W) from Sandlot (T & Th). Players entering 2nd grade can choose between playing in Sandlot with hardballs, or in Rookie Ball with the soft-core baseballs we use, depending on their skill level.

Registration for Rookie Ball will open near June 2025.
